Speech & Language Professional Service private speech and language

Private language therapy for children from age 2 to 18 having communication difficulties associated with dyslexia, verbal expression, written expression, auditory processing, language processing, reading comprehension, spelling, apraxia, stuttering and/or a sound system disorder because of articulation delays.

I focus on helping parents help their children with language-based learning disabilities. This intervention is unique. It is a purposeful plan. I structure learning new strategies by using a child's strengths with positive experiences to improve and to increase learning while in a challenging opportunity. Acquiring new skills alongside their parents gives them the emotional support and courage to participate in this journey of learning--working smarter by using the insights they gain about their strengths.

See the Difference

Word of Mouth's sole focus is to meet your child where they are in order to help them reach their potential. My practice values your child's strengths which helps them to see where they are going. This support motivates your child "to see the light at the end of the tunnel" while learning the strategies that restore their skills impaired by a language-based learning difficulty i.e. dyslexia, reading comprehension, reading fluency, oral and written language, auditory/language processing, untapped executive function skills, stuttering and/or pragmatics as well as individualized instruction for standardized testing.
